Creative WRITING SKILLS FOR CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS

 If you want to craft an authentic and engaging piece of writing, you need to do more than describe ‘what’s happening’. How DO you find the ‘stories’ at the heart of your communications? How do you encourage readers to care about your subject?

This one day course will introduce you and your employees to some of the essential skills of creative writing, including: how to engage your reader from the very first sentence; how to distinguish the ‘story’ you’re telling from the ‘situation’ you’re describing; how to choose the most appropriate ‘voice’ with which to tell your story; how to ‘show’ rather than ‘tell’ your readers what you want them to know.

The course can take place in person or online via Zoom.
