About
Sian has twenty years experience as a journalist and broadcaster in radio, television, print and online, specialising in reporting on the arts and popular culture. She has been a newspaper columnist, a travel and opinion writer, and a theatre, opera and book critic.
Sian is also a professional media consultant, a published short fiction writer, an event host, curator and public speaker, and a teacher at universities and writers centres.
She has a second career as a musician and recording artist (singer, clarinettist and choral conductor) and a producer of concerts in venues ranging from jazz clubs and concert halls through to building sites and bars.
In her spare time, Sian is an active board member of several community and arts organisations.
